Quantities & Units

For example, length and time are measured in completely different units. It would be most odd to say "the runner won the 100 second race in 9.8 metres"

Obviously the correct expression is "the runner won the 100 metre race in 9.8 seconds".

It only makes sense if we include both the units, and with the correct quantities!
