Kinetic Energy

How much kinetic energy a body has depends on its speed and mass. Let's look at some examples:

If you are hit by a bee, moving at 2 m/s, it doesn't hurt much.

Get hit by a cyclist moving at 2 m/s and you will suffer severe bruising.

Collide with a lorry moving at 2 m/s and you will break bones!
