Comma Answers

ic: pencil

Here are our attempts at sentences using commas linking together the information we gave you.

  1. List the contents of your pencil case!
My pencil case contains a rubber, several biros, a pencil, sharpener and calculator.
  2. Something about your Father. Name and job perhaps?
My Dad, John, is 42 and he is a joiner.
  3. Describe your favourite school subject and explain why!
I love physics lessons, they're really interesting because Dr. Baxter, the teacher, makes the subject come alive.

That last sentence almost certainly needed a semicolon instead of the first comma, but it's just about okay!
