Datalogging Summary

GCSE ICT

Datalogging systems record data from inputs and store it on computer.

Simulations software represent real-life situations on a computer.

Datalogging takes place at regular intervals and can be analysed as graphs, etc.

Simulations allow things to be studied that would be too dangerous or expensive.

Examples of datalogging include weather stations and traffic flow systems.

Some datalogging systems can respond to data they collected by controlling situations.
